Standards Adoption

Adopting international or industry standards lends your business credibility and trust amongst consumers. Through standards, businesses can improve operational processes, enhance quality of products and services, increase competitiveness and access new markets.

Supportable Activities

  • Training-related expenses (e.g. internal or lead auditor course certified by the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA), where applicable)
  • Consultancy and professional services
  • Other project-related costs (e.g. certification)

Companies may apply for the CDG to support the above activities/cost items for certification to standards certification, such as, but not limited to:

  • AS 9100 Certification on Quality Management System
  • AS 9120 Quality Management System - Aerospace Requirements for Stockist Distributors
  • Food Industry
  • BRC Global Standards
  • FSSC 2200 Food Safety System Certification
  • ISO 22000 Certification on Food Safety Management Systems
  • SS 590 HACCP-based Food Safety Management Systems
  • TR 49 Cold Chain Management of Frozen Fish & Seafood
  • Oil and Gas Industry
  • American Petroleum Institute (API) Certifications
  • Enterprise Resilience Standards
  • ISO 22301 Societal Security – Business Continuity Management Systems
  • ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems
  • ISO 28000 Certification on Security Management Systems for Supply Chain
  • SS 584 Specification for Multi-tiered Cloud Computing Security

Non-supportable Activities

The following activities/cost items are not supportable under the CDG as they are considered to be operational in nature and not exclusive to capability development projects:

  • All equipment and software purchases
  • All materials and consumables
  • Surveillance audit fees
  • Recertification of the same standard

Each project is evaluated and approved based on the merits of the project. You will receive an email notification on the outcome of your CDG application within 6 to 8 weeks upon receipt of complete project information.
